Change the rhythm and focus on how you lift. Lift 70% of your maximum capacity and do a one count into the movement , hold for a 3 count and then one count down, or one count up, hold for one count and then a 3 count down focusing on the negative while flexing your muscles.You can also add a couple lbs per set. Do super sets, two related movements back to back.
Check out Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine workout and it will give you different options.Look at my avatar. I’m 51 yrs old and just started lifting again after a 15 yr lapse. My doc tells me I’m more fit than a lot of 20 and 30 somethings.

I dont know if this going to help but on the trapmoline i can do a roundoff, front hand spring, a front walkover, a no handed roundoff & a no handed cart wheel, a back handspring, a back flip, and a back walkover.

Here is what I dont understand…
How can you build muscle and drop fat at the same time? How is it possible to eat enough calories to build muscle, yet drop fat at the same time? According to laws in thermodynamics, it should NOT be possible to do both at the same time.
So what kind of workout routine/weight lifting routine should be suggested to someone who wants to gain muscle and drop fat at the same time? How should one’s diet look with this goal in mind?
I am guessing that you could gain muscle and drop fat BUT not lose any body weight because of thermodynamic laws? This, of course, assuming one’s diet stays constant over a long period of time.

What type of muscle are you trying to build? Do you want lean, tone mucsles? Do you want powerful, bulging muscles? You would tailor your workout and diet regiment to whichever goal you have in mind. My preference is to have a healthy balance of both, but there are some that prefer one over the other.

You just had a baby so it’s natural you acquired a layer of fat over your abdominals. Simply workout and do cardio and eventually you’ll have your abs back

The muscle may help you suck in the fat a little better, but the fat’s going to be there unless you burn it.

I saw an article in a diy magazine a while ago where a guy made his own home made weight set using those red one gallon gasoline containers and sand. It sounds kooky, but it actually works because the handles are located right in the middle of the container, and it is comfortable for crunches and other things you would do with free weights. I didn’t have sand but I did have a bunch of little rocks on the outside of my house, and I made some 35 pound free wieghts out of them, you can also add more or less rocks or denser material like concrete to make the wieights heavier or lighter.
I’ve heard of people using orange juice containers as well, but its more awkward because of where the handle is located.
Just get creative, and look for everyday stuff that can be turned into equipment, couple that with your situps, pushups, and pullups and you should be golden

i’m weighing 278 lb and i’m 5 ft 8″ so i’m obesity in class 3 and i have hypothyroid !
Well i do cardio 3 to 4 days a week by brisk walk and then followed by light weight lift with 6- 8 cycle of 10 reps for the upper body work …
on alternate time a brisk walk for 15 minutes then followed by swimming for about 45 to 60 minutes
well till today my sugar level is 4.8 and my LDL LVLis 2.3 previously it was at 3.7 and HDL lvl is at 1.07 previously it was at 1.7 my pressure is at 130 to 84
I’m 28 years old
i have white noodles + black coffe for breakfast followed by rice half of my palm and fish for lunch with veggie this is only if i’m going to have a cardio workout then after that i have a pear of green apples and a plum …
the days wher ther is no cardio white rice vercimelli then followed by dinner taking fruits or whole meal bread with soup of mushroom
