So as you can tell by the title I want to loss weight. I’ve lost 85 pound in about a year by doing MMA Training but I really feel like my body has gotten use to the routine at the gym. So my new routine is Mon, Wed, Fri I do Weight training working on Chest and Biceps on Monday, Legs and Shoulders on Wed and Back and Triceps on Fri. Also before I do any weight lifting I do 30 to 40 min of Stationary Bike Training changing the levels every five min. Then on Tues, Thurs and Saturday I do Tabata / Interval Training which is ten rounds of 30 sec work 30 sec rest when I do work I turn the bike on the highest level and when I rest I turn it half way down. Also on the days I do Tabata/ Interval I also do three, three min rounds of heavy bag work right after my interval. I’m also very carefully about my calorie intake I stick to a 2000 calorie a day intake. I’m currently 5″8 245 I want to get down to 190 one day but for now my goal is 200 by July is this possible and what do you think of my routine?

walking is the best exercise…you can walk outside…dont be a wuss.. but your workout shoudl be an hour long

Hey, I’m 14 years old and I’m looking to lose some weight. Generally, I was born big-boned, and i have alot of muscle on me, but I have alot of fat too. I’m trying to get rid of that unhealthy fat. I was wondering if any of you kind folks could help me with an exercise routine? And also help me with my diet.. Anyways, back to the exercise. I know it’s pretty much impossible to spot reduce, so I’d like a full body routine. Please no weight lifting, I don’t want to start this early, while I’m still growing, I’m only 5’7.

A lot of weight loss, while it is about exercising, is about your diet too. Make sure that you are staying away from the sweets. I was in your boat too when I was 14 (I’m 19 now). The workout on the link I’m putting below is a full body workout. While there are weights involved, I wouldn’t consider it weightlifting because most all of the exercises can be done without weights at all. The only thing I would add would be an ab routine to start on which would be something like
30 sit-ups
1 min of normal plank
30 seconds of side plank on each side
30 side crunches on each side
30 normal crunches
and 1 min of 6 inch leg lift

Swimming is the best low Impact Total Body work Out because you use your entire body.
Plus it’s SOOOO fun it’s not even like a workout, more like Fun

I haven’t heard that one i do an hour of cardio and 40 minutes of weight training but only gained muscle but my brother used to weigh 120kgs and lost 40 kgs with just an hour of cardio and 20 minutes of training and better diet

I am a 19 year old male, and one year ago I was 225 pounds (When I was 5 foot 6), and I lost alot of it, about 80 pounds. I am now 150 pounds (5 foot 7), and still can’t get rid of the last bit of fat beneath my belly button. I decided to try a new workout routine: Lift weights 3 times a week and run 4 times a week (2 miles three times a week, and on Sundays run/walk 5 miles in 45 mins). I see a bit of results, but not what I want, I want that layer of fat to be gone and visibly see my abs, but I’m sort of stuck. I’ve been on that program for about a month now, and I’m up 4 1/2 pounds (154.5 now), and am scared I’ve added fat. Should I just go back to do doing straight cardio, thats what I did to lose my 80 pounds. My upper abs are fine, and don’t have much fat on them, and my arms and legs are toned. It’s just my lower abs that have a considerable amount of fat on them
So right now I’m frustrated because I’m gaining weight and don’t really know what to do to get rid of that layer of fat.
Side note: I’m starting to be concerned that my skin has stretched too much to go back to normal, I have some stretch marks near my belly button.

You could try swimming backstroke this may do the trick. If you do an hour a day a month should show a difference

Ive been running 4 miles(60 minutes) 3 times a week and lifting weights (full body routine) twice a week. I have lost a little weight over a couple of weeks. Would it be better to run for 2 miles at a faster pace and then do a split routine everyday or should I stay with what I’m doing…Just so everyone knows I have an excellent diet plan going with my exercise routine.

yes, but you still have to eat less calories than you work off otherwise it won’t do too much.

i just found out im 5’9 and weight 241 im trying to lose 81or 61 so i can join the Marine Corp and as of next week im signing up for the gym. When i was using my friends guest pass to the gym we would spend an hour on the treadmill doing cardio. After we would do knee lifts and crunches to work my gut and and after all of that we will hit the weights and work out till failure and we would spend an average of 6 to 7 hours in the gym doing mostly weight lifting. So i need advise or opinions on my routine because i have alot of fat on me so should i put a sweater on amp my time on the treadmill or just try and convert my fat into muscle
Spec’s:
crunches- 5 sets of 5
knee lifts- 5 sets of 15
bicep work out- 5 sets of 5, 7, 10
leg work out- 5 sets of 15
eating rite as well just need advise or opinions on what im doing to lose my weight and i know im obese class 2 lost weight in past like 18 pounds in 3 weeks. Just need your help with the help of a trainer dont have him any more so i have to turn to the internet for help so answers will mean alot to me thanks!!!!!!
