I wrote down everything I ate as well as the calories, and did a combination of cardio and weight-lifting at the gym almost daily. Sometimes, I’d just go for a walk or do toning exercises in my office during lunch to squeeze in whatever exercise I could!
Top Tip: Find support from a network of people who are also living a healthy life. I found mine in my boyfriend and coworkers, as they were either dieting right along with me, or at least working on living a healthier lifestyle.

workout routine?
I joined a gym about 5 weeks ago and I have been going a lot and love it there but I’m getting tired of my routine and I’m not seeing the results I want. Does anybody have a good routine they can suggest? I really want to work on my stomach, my thighs, and a little bit on everything else. My gym has everything, a full workout area with all the machines you can imagine, studios (they have workout balls, little weights, steps [for step aerobics] and jump rope) rock climbing walls, pool, and a bit more. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

i am 22 yr. old female. Question about treadmill workout?
I got a pacemaker in october. this is my first day back workingout on the treadmil. if i do any more excertion than speed walking. such as jogging, even slow. my heart rate reached 177 in less than a minute. is that normal or am i out of shape. i also experienced chest pain. is that normal. Anyone with asthma workout? Do you exprience any symptoms? help please. i want to get back in shap for spring.

What is best for burning fat, treadmill or elliptical? I enjoy the elliptical better. If I do use the elliptical, what is a good workout that will burn fat? I have been running minute on/minute off at 5mph. I know it seems I am slacking..this is about all I can do since I am just a beginner. But I always get out of it b/c I hate it. What is a elliptical workout that is comparable?

Cardio workouts only for weight loss or weights, too?
If you’re substantially overweight, is cardio only the best idea for a while, or should you jump right into weights as well?
Pilates Question?! (exercise?)?
Normally I dread my exercising, but I just recently started doing pilates and I feel soooo great after doing it it’s insane. So this got me suspicious – is pilates really good exercise, or am I being fooled?
I know it’s mostly for your upper body, and I still work on my legs and still do cardio for 30-45 minutes, but is it even good at all?
